What we keep, and why.

Your email address

When you sign up, we collect your email address, which form on the site you used (the home page, a journal post, and so on), and the time you signed up.

That goes into Resend, the email service we use, as a contact. We use it to send Atlas Camera Club email and nothing else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and if you'd rather be deleted outright, write to us and we'll do it.

Your IP address

To slow down bots, the signup form briefly counts requests per IP address in the server's memory. It isn't written to a database or a file, and it's gone when the server restarts.

The shop and the bag

When you add something to your bag, we set a cookie that holds a Shopify cart ID. That's how the bag remembers what's in it. It lasts 30 days.

Checkout and payment happen on Shopify's hosted checkout, not on this site. We don't see or store your card details, and Shopify's privacy policy covers what happens there.

Analytics and ads

There are none. No analytics scripts, no ad trackers, no tracking pixels. The bag cookie above is the only cookie this site sets.

Whoever took a photo owns it.
